rPET Bags

rPET stands for recycled polyethylene terephthalate. In plain terms: post-consumer plastic bottles collected, cleaned, broken down, and spun into polyester yarn. That yarn becomes your bag.
The result is a bag that performs like standard polyester, with the same durability, the same print quality, and the same load capacity, plus a certified, documented recycled content percentage. For buyers who need to back up a sustainability claim, this is the material that comes with the paperwork.
Two things are driving demand right now

Uncoated mono-material rPET bags are generally more recyclable where collection and recycling streams exist. They can re-enter the recycling stream when the bag is no longer usable.
Laminated or coated rPET bags are more water resistant and have a different surface finish, but the coating affects recyclability. If a closed-loop claim matters to you, we recommend uncoated.
We will tell you which finish works best for your use case.
